Conditions - Overview

Functional Illness - Overview

Many people don't feel good, but don't really know why. They complain of unexplained symptoms such as chronic fatigue, over-weight, depression, head aches, muscle and joint pain, arthritis, intractable back pain, heartburn, bloating, constipation, diarrhea, mood swings, rashes, itching, allergies, etc. Standard medical tests show little or nothing. Functional Illness is this gray and vague area between optimal health and disease.

Your Brain and Chronic Illness

Many seemingly insolvable chronic illnesses such as intractable pain syndromes are, at least in part, due to abnormal brain function and an imbalance between the brain hemispheres. Unless you improve brain function, these conditions may not resolve.

Oxygen/O2 Deficiency and Your Brain - The "Missing Link"

Your brain is in charge of every aspect of your being - mental, emotional and physical. Your brain and nervous system need three things for optimal function:

(1) Proper nutrition (protein and balanced blood sugar)
(2) Stimulation/activation
(3) Oxygen/O2 - your brain depends on adequate oxygen more than any other part of your body.

ADD - ADHD - Learning Disabilities - Behavioral Disorders

Brain Hemisphericity- decreased brain hemisphere function, not pathology- explains the tremendous increase in childhood and adolescent ADD/ADHD, Autism, Asperger's Syndrome, Learning Disabilities, etc.. In the understanding of Brain Hemisphericity through recent insight of clinical neurology lies the solution to many of these conditions!

Allergies/Asthma

An allergy is an exaggerated and abnormal response of the body to allergens.

Food Allergies

Food allergies (sensitivities) easily masquerade as many illnesses and conditions.

Digestive Problems

Abnormal digestive function can be at the root of an enormous variety of seemingly unrelated and "unexplained" physical and psychological symptoms.

Candida Yeast

Candida Albicans is the most common yeast found in the human intestinal tract. Normal intestinal bacterial flora keeps Candida Yeast in check. The overgrowth of Candida Yeast in the intestinal tract is affecting at least one third of the people in the United States.

Heartburn/Indigestion

We are now beginning to understand the impact HCL can have on a person's health. Numerous studies have shown that HCL secretion declines with advancing age.

Chronic Fatigue

Do you get up in the morning, leap out of bed, have energy to work all day, pursue hobbies after work, exercise, interact with family or friends, enjoy uninterrupted sleep until next morning? You can.

Hypoglycemia
Low blood sugar. Proper sugar level in the blood is especially important to the brain and the nervous system.
Chronic Pain
Pain relief and healing through normalization of cell function and induction of increased production of cellular energy (ATP).
Tinnitus

A continuous lack of ATP (cellular energy) within the inner ear cells of the cochlea can lead to either a gradual or sudden impairment of the entire hearing organ. Tinnitus is one possible manifestation.

Vertigo

A continuous lack of ATP (cellular energy) within the inner ear cells of the labyrinth can lead to either a gradual or sudden impairment of the entire organ of balance. Vertigo is one possible manifestation.

Hearing Loss

A continuous lack of ATP (cellular energy) within the inner ear cells of the cochlea can lead to either a gradual or sudden impairment of the entire hearing organ. Hearing loss is one possible manifestation.
Hyperacusis
A continuous lack of ATP (cellular energy) within the inner ear cells of the cochlea can lead to either a gradual or sudden impairment of the entire hearing organ. Hyperacusis is one possible manifestation.
